Welcome

My name is Evan Slade and I am very happy to have your child in my seventh-grade class for the 2018-2019 school year. I have degrees in both Math, and Chemistry from the University of Cape Breton and Memorial University and a secondary education degree also from Cape Breton University. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, movies, and spending time with my family. I have two dogs and am from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

We will have an exciting year ahead of us.

I have a comprehensive class website that students have access to the course calendar that tells you what homework we have and what dates we do them as well as tests and assignments. On this website also is the textbook and all class notes that we cover as well as practice tests for extra practice. Students will use the same login as their email.
