Parent Volunteers

A great deal of any school’s success can be attributed to its volunteers and we welcome you and your family to join in this rewarding experience.

To ensure the safety of all our students, the school requires a copy of each volunteer's Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check. This copy will be kept on file in a confidential binder held by School Admin.

Please ensure the office has a current copy prior to volunteering at the school. Please refer to the RVS Board Policy on Volunteers.

Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Checks can be obtained at the local RCMP detachment.

All Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Checks are considered valid for 5 years with Rocky View Schools. Additionaly, volunteers will need to complete an Annual Declaration form and an Annual Confidentiality form.
