Mr. Perry

Welcome

This is Mr. Perry’s fourth year at Muriel Clayton middle school and seventh year with Rocky View Schools. He is excited to be returning to the grade 7 team this year! He will be teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, Health, Drama and Guitar. Mr. Perry taught grade 5 at Beiseker Community School for three years. Prior to becoming a teacher, Mr. Perry worked as a science educator with the Telus Spark Science Centre in Calgary and as an actor, writer, and performer with several theatre companies in Alberta. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree specializing in playwriting from the University of Calgary, which is also where he obtained a BFA in drama and a Bachelor of Education. Mr. Perry loves to travel and spent a year living in Qingzhou, Shandong province, China where he taught English at the Weifang Vocational College. When he’s not teaching, Mr. Perry loves spending time hiking, playing the guitar, and reading with his sons, Jack and Elliott.
