Cell Phone Policy
Please take time to read Muriel Clayton's cellphone procedure, as we know most students come to school with them.
Cell phones can be used during lunch or recess at the teacher's discretion.
At all other times, we ask that students keep their phones in the lock box provided or in their backpacks/lockers turned on silent.
If you need to contact your child during the school day, please call the school and we will deliver the message to them.
If students are using phones during instructional times, the teacher will first give them a warning to put the phone away and then take it if they are caught with it again.
Research shows that cell phones can influence student learning and their social and emotional well-being. Attached are a few links if you would like to read more about this.
